The Manual Weld Station makes an ideal work table for welding outlets on pipe. It is solidly made with 1/8” wall 2 x 2 square tubing and built to survive in any fabrication shop.
It features 4 adjustable pipe supports and an index chuck for positioning the pipe every 90 degrees for side outlets or crosses. The air valve for operating the index has an operating rod that runs the full length of the machine so the operator can lock and unlock the index from where he is working.
To weld a cross, the operator would roll the pipe into the index chuck, lock it in place and weld his first outlet on. The he would unlock the index and rotate the pipe and relock the index to weld the second outlet. If the pipe support is at the weld position it can be moved easily.
